MyNaviLife — Privacy Policy

A daily-living companion app by Charismatic Care.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

In plain English. MyNaviLife helps a person manage their day, and lets the carer who supports them see how it is going. We store only what the app needs to do that. We do not show adverts, we do not track you, and we never sell your information to anyone.

Who is responsible for your data

Charismatic Care is the data controller for information held in MyNaviLife. If you have a question, or you want to see or delete the information we hold, contact us:

Who signs in

The person using the daily app never signs in and never has to create an account. Only carers and administrators have login details.

What we collect, and why

InformationWhy we need it
Carer's email address and password To create the carer's account and let them sign in securely. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.
The supported person's name and avatar So the app can greet them and the carer can tell whose plan they are looking at.
Routines and tasks, and the steps within them This is the person's daily plan — the core purpose of the app.
Completed tasks, mood check-ins (and any note added), and feedback on how a task went So the person can see their progress, and the carer can understand how they are getting on.
Care plan — goals and notes written by the carer To keep the person's support plan in one place.
Trusted contacts — name, role and phone number So the person can reach someone quickly from the Help screen.
Reminders and settings (text size, contrast, voice) To keep the app set up the way the person needs it.
Linked device identifiers When a carer links the person's phone to their account, we store an anonymous device identifier so the two devices can share the same plan.

Things that stay on the phone

Some information never leaves the device and is never sent to us:

Who can see the information

Nobody else. Carers cannot see other carers' people.

Where it is stored

Information is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), operated by Google. It is encrypted while travelling between the app and Google's servers.

International transfer. Our Firebase database is currently hosted in the United States. This means information about UK users is stored outside the United Kingdom, under Google's data-protection safeguards. If you would prefer your data not to be held outside the UK, please contact us at the address above.

How long we keep it

We keep the information for as long as the carer's account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we will remove it from our database. You can ask at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Email gifty@charismaticcare.net and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK and you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

What we do not do

Children

MyNaviLife is designed for adults and for the carers and family who support them. It is not aimed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and, where the change is significant, tell carers in the app.
